In comparison,  to the Eureka Tower which is 297 metres tall,  the Empire State Building in New York built in early 1930 s, broke all records and was the 8th wonder in the world….it now features 73 elevators…with a height of 381 metres (1250 feet)…but was beaten in height in 1972 with the Twin World Trad Towers….

Eureka Tower clears Rialto height in Australia  Tallest Building…..


p>Melbourne Central’s shot tower looked like an anthill way below and Federation Square resembled a toy set.

As reported for  completed in 2005….the $500 million Eureka building will be 92 storeys and 297 metres tall, unquestionably one of the tallest buildings in Australia.

It will offer 554 homes, ranging in price from $285,000 for a one-bedroom apartment to an as-yet-unsold $8 million penthouse on the 88th floor.

Residents will be able to use facilities including a gymnasium, swimming pool and a 30-seat theater. Gee I wonder what the price is now for those apartments at the Eureka!!!  check out click on this
